Inspired by the ancient Venetian apothecary tradition, this product is crafted by Spezieria de Venezia using carefully selected ingredients and time-honoured techniques.

In Ancient Venice a special soap was made containing the water derived from raw silk rinsing. It was enriched in silk-derived proteins (sericine) and used in hair cleansing as it creates soft and strong locks. This delicate and nourishing beauty soap with a silky texture contains sericin, shea butter, olive oil and sweet almond oil making it suitable for facial and body cleansing. Silk proteins and emollient oils deposit a fine protective layer to the skin making the soap ideal for sensitive skin too. The fresh, floral scent is the result of a unique blend of gardenia, May rose, jasmine, sandalwood and citrus.
