TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Cestino. These Terms apply when you visit our website or place an order. By placing an order, you agree to the Terms below.  

1. Company Information 

This website is operated by Cestino Welcome Bags ApS (“Cestino”, “we”, “us”).

2. Made-to-Order & Event-Specific Products 

All products sold by Cestino are made-to-order and event-specific. 

This includes: 

• handcrafted items produced by our Italian artisans and partners, and 

• curated, customised combinations created specifically for each event. 

Each order is unique and created exclusively for the stated event.  

3. Product Characteristics & Craftsmanship 

Many Cestino products are handcrafted. Natural variations in colour, glaze, texture, weave or finish are part of authentic craftsmanship and are not considered defects. 

4. Prices, VAT (IVA) & Fees 

• Prices are displayed on the website per product. 

• All prices are shown inclusive Italian VAT (IVA) at 22%

• A flat delivery fee of €49 applies for deliveries in 2026, regardless of order size. 

• Any additional costs will be clearly communicated before order confirmation.  

5. Order Acceptance & Confirmation 

Orders placed on the website are considered order requests. 

An order is only confirmed once accepted in writing by Cestino (e.g. via email). 

Cestino reserves the right to decline an order if requirements, availability, timelines or delivery conditions cannot be met.  

6. Personalisation & Customer Responsibility 

Where personalisation is provided (names, dates, wording, monograms, uploaded artwork/files), the customer is responsible for ensuring all details are correct before submission. 

By uploading artwork or designs, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to use them.  

7. Lead Time & Finalisation Deadline 

To ensure production, personalisation and careful packing, all orders must be finalised no later than 60 days (2 months) before the confirmed delivery date. 

This deadline applies to: 

• product selection 

• quantities (including quantities per item) 

• personalisation details and files 

Changes requested after this deadline cannot be guaranteed.  

8. Delivery – Italy Only 

Cestino delivers exclusively to venues and addresses within Italy. 

Delivery is made to the address provided at checkout and scheduled for the confirmed delivery date (we advise this to be at least one day before an event to ensure readiness - or we cannot guarantee a specific time delivery during the day, as this depends on the shipping company). 

The customer must provide: 

• a complete Italian delivery address 

• the full name of a recipient authorised to receive and sign for the delivery 

Failed deliveries due to incorrect details or unavailable recipients may result in additional costs. 

9. Packaging & Event Readiness 

All products are packed with care for safe transport. 

• Without bags purchased from Cestino: 
  Each product is packed securely and individually. Items arrive protected but unassembled, allowing flexibility for custom setups (e.g. welcome markets or display tables). 

• With bags purchased from Cestino: 
  Products can be packed directly into the bags, arriving event-ready and easy to place in guest rooms, on chairs, or within your venue setup. If baskets are purchased, we will stack these and pack the items in individual "basket portions", ready to add to each basket upon arrival. 

10. Availability & Substitutions 

Items are subject to availability by our vendors. 

If a selected item becomes unavailable, Cestino will propose a carefully curated alternative of similar quality and value. 

The final decision to accept or decline an alternative remains with the customer.  

11. Returns, Refunds & Issues 

As all products are made-to-order and created specifically for an event, returns are not accepted and refunds are not offered, except where required by applicable law. 

If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery at info@cestinowelcomebags.com so we can work together to find an appropriate solution. Our goal is always to ensure a positive experience. 

12. Intellectual Property 

All content on the website (text, imagery, branding, designs) is the property of Cestino or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission. 

13. Liability & Force Majeure 

Cestino is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier delays, strikes, severe weather, or venue access restrictions. We will of course always do our best to find alternative solutions, so our clients receive the ordered items. 

14. Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by Danish law. Mandatory consumer protections under applicable EU or national law remain unaffected.
